Growing up to live life. Then one day you find the one that empowers you to wake up a nation. The one that stands beside you and says there’s no chance unless you take one. You might not have been looking for love like this but now it’s in your way. You go get a ring and let the choir bells sing, saying hey baby, I think I wanna marry you!

Our skaters are going to dazzle you with solos, pairs, group numbers and double axles. They will leave you standing in awe as our diamond level dancers skate the Silver Samba.

Events will kick off with the 1st Annual St. Edward Golf Tournament to be held at the Evergreen Golf Course ~ Wolfe Lake Rd. Westport with Registration @ 8:00 am and a Shotgun Start @ 9:00 am.

It’s almost August, and we all know what happens on the fourth weekend of August – The Rideau Valley Art Festival. That’s right, mark your calendars on August 26-28, 2011. The Village of Westport will be packed full of visitors and artists as they all head to the Westport Community Centre for this annual event.

By searching out original works of art by well-known and new artists whose work is juried before acceptance, the Board of Directors ensures high-quality work and a showcase of exceptional talent. Artists will be on hand to answer your questions, and a variety of attractions promise something for everyone.

The 19th annual indoor Westport Antique Show and Sale will return to our beautiful Village again this year on June 4-5th, 2011. The show will be held in the Westport Community Centre on the corner of Spring and Concession Streets. Saturday show hours are 10am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm. Admission is $5, and children under 12 Free. Plenty of free parking!

This year there will be fifty exhibition booths with fabulous dealers from Ontario and Quebec. There will be 10 new vendors this year, all qualified antique dealers! The dealers promise to bring excellent fresh inventory including the finest antiques in glass, tools, china, pine furnture, pottery, crystal, silver, folk art, formal furniture, collectibles and much more!
