Saturday, December 5, 12, & 19 – CHRISTMAS AT THE MILL – the mill will be lit up with festive candles as part of Delta’s Celebrating the Season. We’ll be open from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Christmas Lights in the Mill: Each Christmas season the Delta Mill Society installs large lighted candles and wreaths in the Mill windows and people come from many miles around to see this beautiful seasonal display. As one local business person wrote to the Society “the Mill’s windows glow like small jewels on cold winter nights”. This display is now paired with Delta’s Celebrating the Season with thousands of lights in Lower Beverley Lake Park.
Saturday, December 5 – CHILDREN’S GINGERBREAD DAY – hosted by the Delta Mill Society at the Old Town Hall from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Children accompanied by their parents are welcome to come and do some gift shopping and have fun decorating gingerbread cookies – supplies provided at no charge and hot dogs and pop will be for sale for $2:00. While the kids are having fun their parents can enjoy a hot drink of cider or coffee while enjoying Christmas decor and music and browsing the Christmas Gift Shop and used book sale.
