Artemisia Gallery is owned and operated by two area artists who have many years experience between them. The gallery is located in a charming century home, just up the street from the village pier. This venue is a complementary backdrop for the fine art and finely crafted gifts available for purchase from the gallery.

The gallery offers only original Canadian art works by local artists. Come in and visit the gallery where you will find traditional and contemporary watercolour, oil and acrylic paintings; original wildlife drawings; photographic and reproduction prints; and sculptures in a variety of media. Our line of giftware items includes: hammered pewter; handcrafted games; hand-forged metalworks; jewelry; kaleidescopes; pottery and wood turned bowls.

Don't forget to drop by on the day when your favourite artist is here to demonstrate his/her technique or just to visit with him/her in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Or perhaps you would like to join one of the ongoing art classes, either sign up for a ten week course or just drop in for a class when you are in Westport on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. In addition the gallery offers a range of artists' supplies and art services such as: archival quality framing; art classes and workshops in a variety of techniques and media; commissions; consultations; and in-house art conservation by a professionally trained art conservator.
